We service the Disabled children who may have Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy or Autism. In addition to the general caregiver duties, these children may need caregivers that are energetic enough to get down on the floor to play or help them with their school work or their communication devices. We may be working with their teachers, occupational therapist or others to provide consistent behavior therapy techniques or helping with escort services as needed. Special training is available for those with Autism or related disorders or disability.
Some of our favorite people to help are those HASCI clients who truly need our dependable and well trained service providers! The clients benefit greatly from our strong “runner” program for fill-in support so they are able to get help even when their caregiver is suddenly unavailable. The Head and Spinal Cord Injured clientele receive additional support from our training programs to ensure our caregivers are exposed to the special challenges they face, including autonomic dysreflexia, transfer techniques and bowel program delegations. Stoke victims find the same level of comfort for their situations from these highly trained individuals. We use our many years of experience to help with the set up and care of the disabled in the home care setting. We love to share our ideas and help with short term and long term care plans to help our clients live as independently as possible. We share a deep compassion for people who have trouble moving about on their own and we want to make sure we are there for them when they need us!
