January is National Blood Donor Month!
Have you been trying to come up with a New Year’s Resolution that benefits the people around you but is relatively simple? Well you’re in luck, January is National Blood Donor Month!

How Do You Donate?
The donation process is 4 steps: registration, mini physical, donation, and refreshments. You’re required to have their driver’s license or donor card with the, be at least 17 years old, and weight at least 110 pounds. Donors will undergo a mini physical that reviews medical history to ensure that the participant is eligible for donation. Some elements that prevent donation are: recent tattoos, low iron levels, or out-of-date immunization records so be sure to review all requirements before donating!
